St. Paul's pipe organ was installed ten years ago this summer. The organ, designed and built by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders of Lake City, Iowa, is not only a beautiful instrument, but an invaluable resource in leading the congregation's song. The 2-manual, mechanical action instruent has 36 stops, 45 ranks, and 2,227 pipes. Visit the Dobson organ site to view the specifications of the instrument, and read the the cover story of The American Organist, April 1999, featuring this beautiful instrument.
The organ is a joy to play, to hear, and even to see. Visiting organists, you're more than welcome to come by and play it for yourself when you're in town: simply contact the Jacob Manier, Saint Paul's Director of Parish Music.
