We are pleased to offer our beautiful church for weddings for members and non-members alike. In addition to the main worship space, which seats approximately 300, Saint Paul's has a lovely side chapel that is a wonderful setting for intimate-sized weddings. The undercroft of the church is also available for receptions.
The first step in scheduling a wedding at Saint Paul’s Church is to contact the priest, The Reverend Marlene Jacobs. As a courtesy, plan to attend a Sunday worship service, and introduce yourselves to Reverend Jacobs after the service. You can schedule an initial meeting with Reverend Jacobs at this time. Attending a Sunday worship service will give you an idea about the style of worship, as well as the space, sound, and lighting you can expect for your wedding. Sunday worship is at 10:00am throughout the school year, and 9:00am from the Sunday after Memorial Day through the Sunday after Labor Day.
Other wedding information:
You will be required to participate in 10-12 hours of pre-marital counseling. Pre marital counseling can be done through Lutheran Social Services which offers a variety of counseling, options or through Minnesota Family Services.
The fee for a wedding at Saint Paul’s is $1,600. This fee includes the honorarium for the organist, wedding coordinator, priest, and maintenance. A $300 deposit is required to hold the date.
